The Impact of Family Breakdown.

Recent changes in the divorce laws in the UK completely ignores the devastation of family breakdown. It in effect makes it easier for couples to divorce rather than encouraging them to navigate the storms that often occur in marriage.

Despite falling marriage rates and the advent of alternative relationships, statistically marriage more than often supports a long loving relationship and produces the best environment to raise children in. The failure of our law makers to see the direct link between the stability of the family and it’s impact on the wider community and society is hard to fathom despite the evidence.
